Rules. They aren't fun, and I know we've all broken them once or twice during our lifetime. The rules of this site aren't difficult, and if you're a nice person, they shouldn't be too hard. If you have any questions, post them here. Don't worry too much about them, as they're common sense.
GENERAL
1. RESPECT Respect the other people on the site. Yes, this counts if you hate them with a burning passion. If someone says something mean to you, don't fight back. PM an admin, and it'll all be taken care of. Won't you feel better if you turned in an idiot, while not harming yourself or your reputation in any way? Some of the petty things will be forgotten. There are instances that will get you automatically banned, such as racism and fascism. If I see any of this, there will be a problem. In short, I'll tell you something that my principal says. See it, say it, stop it. Here it isn't really that relevant, as you can't precisely see it, but you get the point. Don't take your fighting here. Take it somewhere else. Better yet, don't do it at all.
2. READ UP Please read about the plot of this site. It's not a nessecity, of course, but you'd be able to write your RPs better. This would help if you wanted a cannon, too.
3. NOBODY'S PERFECT No, not the Miley Cyrus song. No character on this planet is perfect. You're not perfect, I'm not perfect. You can't have insanely rich parents, a perfect boyfriend, stellar grades, and be gorgeous at the same time. Be fair, and no godmoding. This is when you control someone else's character.
4. NO STEALING This means graphics, content, ideas, and characters. If you do this, then you will be banned with no warning. These belong to both admins, along with the members. If you think you can get away with this, you're wrong. We're so sneaky that we should work for the FBI. :]
YOUR PROFILE
1. GRAPHICS We would appreciate if you kept signatures to a size of 450x275 or smaller. We don't want any graphics that flash or distract members from what they're doing. If you would like a graphic made by someone else, visit the graphics board. =]
2. AVATARS You must have an avatar that represents your character. A signature is not needed unless you want one.
3. NAMES Try to come up with nice names. Bob Smith isn't exactly original, so try to come up with something interesting. Think of colors and places, or ask someone for help.
4. PLAY BYS I'm really sorry, but we don't accept any "scene" characters, unless we have them listed as canons. Some of them are cool, but a lot of people don't like them, so please don't have your character have pink hair or loads of piercings.
ROLEPLAYING
1. BEHAVIOR Sex, drugs, and alcohol are part of life, so we will allow it. Not excessive amounts, but if you feel the need for your character to get trashed, go right ahead. The thing is, we could have some young members on the site who don't want to read this. You must put an [M] or [R] in your thread, or else we will give you a warning. Please follow these rules. You've been warned.
2. THIRD PERSON Sorry, guys. We don't allow first person RPing. This gets fairly annoying to some, so we'll stick with third person.
Example: I went to go sit down. I saw John there. <--wrong! Lily went to sit down. She saw John there. <--right!
3. MURDERS Murders are going to happen, like suicides. Please know that you must have the other person's permission for a murder. You must ahve an admin's permission to kill someone and take your life. You can't kill people left and right, as death is a serious matter. When you have the right, you must RP fading to black. Say that you cornered the person, then put "fade to black" at the bottom of the post. Save the blood and gore for other RPs, please.
4. AMOUNT Quantity doesn't always equal quality, but we do want a decent amount from everyone. Three good paragraphs is the minimum size of RPs. If someone who replies to your thread writes two, feel free to tell them to write more. It's not rude, it's the rules. You're doing them a favor by telling them to follow them.
