MEET ANNALEE
ANNALEE IS A FEMALE
AND IS 15 YEARS OLD.
SHE PLAYS KRISTEN MARSHALL HERE[/font]
CENTERFOLDS AND LIPSTICK .
hair color:
Kristen has striking, soft red waves that fall down to her shoulders the color of fire. She loves to have it down, but when she plays music, she likes to put it up so she can hear every note. Her mum wants her to straighten it, but she loves her hair the way it is. At times, when she feels so knocked out after a day of writing her music, she neglects to untangle her hair, so at times it looks messy. She really isn't too interested in looks, but she tries her best to get her hair decent naturally. She gets her thick side-parted bangs cut almost every month, and loves to get them restyled in many different ways, but it's rare that anybody will notice.
eye color:
Her eyes are green, passed down from her...eccentric father. She doesn't spend much time applying make-up to her eyes, but will go for the occassional mascara and an earthy tone if she's performing for her friends or meeting somebody special. The largeness of her eyes are startling and they look stormy gray when she's sad. She has 20:20 vision and is glad she doesn't need contacts because she's scared of putting her finger in her eye.
skin tone:
Kristen is very pale. She can't seem to tan at all, although she hasn't tried tanning salon. She burns extremely badly, though, and really hates how irritated her skin gets, no matter how much sunscreen she puts on.
Kristen turns crimson when she gets embarrassed. Many people mistake it for her being mad, the emotion she hates the most.
height:
Kristen checks out at 5 feet 7 inches, which to her is decent. Her mum is 5 feet 3 inches while her dad is 6 feet 2 inches, which sits her right in the middle. When she was younger, she was worried that she would only be 5 feet 2 inches, but two years ago her dad's genes kicked in and she begun sprouting to her current height.
weight:
Kristen just checks in at normal body weight at a little over 120 pounds. She has an extremely high metabolism and loves to eat. She bikes everywhere, swims in the summer, and ice skates in the winter, but all recreationally, and isn't really good at any particular sports. Her mum limits her computer and television time, so she mostly only sits around at school and when playing her music, although not all of her instruments require her to sit down.
defining characteristics:
Kristen has a ton of scars from her angry little dog, but most of them don't stay longer than a week or so. However, she does have a scar on her calf from an ice skating incident which she'd rather not talk about.
She also has a very distinctive fashion sense. She has a very girly style, wearing feminine dresses, cashmeres, blue jeans, and bright jackets.
tattoos:
Kristen doesn't have any tattoos, but she loves getting temporary handpainted tattoos all over, normally very small but cute.
piercings:
Her ears are pierced, but she doesn't wear a lot of dangly or large earrings, mostly just studs and tiny little shapes like hearts. She doesn't want any other piercings.
played by: Alison Sudol

HOUSTON, WE HAVE AN UH-OH .
likes: Well, Kristen will like almost anything as long as you give her a good reason or an upside. However, the things she loves most in the world are:
Music (any kind, really), family (well, the ones she knows), friends, her dog, her bright green bike, her hair, the pool, the ice skating rink, her piano, her guitar, her violin, her viola, her harpsicord, spring and winter, flowers, sleep, London
dislikes: Backstabbers, boys who think it's funny to lie, girls who think it's funny to lie, loud parties, getting confused, people who think her hair color is fake, math, jerks
flaws/habits: Kristen can't hold a grudge, and tends to chew on her lip when she's nervous (which results in her lip bleeding). She can't get angy without getting sad, and can't talk back to anybody. She's too scared to voice her opinions sometimes, especially to the Elites. She taps her fingers on something whenever she's bored, which many people might find annoying.
secrets: Has a sister who got pregnant at her age and her mum, although seems completely cool and refined outside, is cheating on Kristen's dad, while he goes off and gets drunk almost every other night. Kristen herself has been prone to getting threatened by her mum's lover, and has taken a drink of her parents' alcohol before and hated it, but loved the way it made her felt.
personality evaluation:
Kristen Macy Marshall seems like your average, sweet girl-next-door who only thinks about falling in love with the one, being a good little girl, and getting good grades, but most of that is wrong. She isn't looking for love, and would rather have guys that girls who fall head over heels for as best friends. She can't be a good little girl for her parents because she'd rather not have role models like them, and getting good grades is the least of her problems. The lowest she gets is normally a B minus, but since her sister has come to America, they seem to be dropping down to Cs. Kristen falls under pressure very easily so she does her best to keep herself upright and maintained at all times, but with what's been happening to her family lately, it's hard to keep a straight face on. She doesn't tell her best friends anything that might make them worry, even though she knows they're great people. She tries to find out how to handle every situation that comes her way, but sometimes it just becomes too overwhelming. That's when music plays a big role. Music is the closest thing to Kristen's great escape. Some people have partying and drugs, while she has music, and when it comes to it, she might just grab into her parents' so-called secret stash of alcohol.
Kristen isn't much of a partier but might go if she's feeling good or has nothing else to do that day. She hates the stench of sex and alcohol because well...well, it smells like her own house, disgustingly enough. She hates being at home and normally bikes over to somebody's house or hangs out at a cafe or a park somewhere. She'll normally be found playing or writing music or trying to figure out her math homework. She loves her family and friends but has trust issues with everybody. Her family is so dysfunctional she's not sure what to do with them. She doesn't really think cleaning up her father's puke really qualifies as Quality Family Time, but does so anyways. Kristen isn't much of a doer, and she wishes she could stand up for what she believes in more.

FASHION YOUR SEATBELT .
mother's name and age: Dahlia Fortune Marshall, forty-eight
father's name and age: Cliff Marshall, fifty
mother's occupation: A writer for a comic company that paints on the side
father's occupation: A worker at a very prominent music company
heritage: English with a bit of Irish from her mum
siblings: Two older than her--Ellie, twenty-two, and Troy, twenty-four, plus a brother-in-law, Timothy, who she doesn't really know.
children: none
spouse/signifigant other: none, and not really looking
history essay:
Once upon a time (well, to be more specific, thirty years ago), Dahlia Fortune met the ill-mannered Cliff Marshall at her college orientation. He was her freshman mentor (as in, she was the freshman), and gladly helped gave her a tour of the school and asked her out promptly after. Being wary of strange men, Dahlia harshly rejected him. 'Oh well,' he thought, 'I'll ask her out another day.'
Another day, to a smarter man, might have meant after they got to know each other better, but to him, another day meant tomorrow.
Cliff wasn't a very bright lad, so he asked her out the next day. Getting all of his previous girlfriends from looks and charms alone, he had never really heard "no," especially not as easily as Dahlia said it. However, he persisted, and four months later, he had himself a brand new girlfriend.
Their relationship was...alright. Cliff had still not learned what "no" meant and was still as spoiled as ever. They had broken up a total of nine times before they had turned up twenty-two and twenty-four, which was when Cliff asked Dahlia to marry him. Unsurprisingly, she said no.
However, just as before, he persisted, and four months later, he had himself a brand new fiancee.
So, you see, this relationship was doomed from the start. Sure, Dahlia was madly in love with the man, but really, he could get so chauvinistic and be such a sexist pig sometimes. However, after a year of planning, they got married and Dahlia got pregnant with Troy, bound to become an Ivy student that played the piano and got straight A's and played basketball and was perfect and blah, blah, blah. Two years later, they had Ellie, who wasn't nearly as great as Troy, as they knew from the start. She was a slob, at least by their standards, because she cried a lot as a baby. It was only natural for her, since she was a baby, but to Dahlia and Cliff, they were completely dumbfounded. With Troy, they had taken a handpicked nanny and practically had her raise him, but the nanny had moved to France and Troy had already been raised to the age of two.
Well, let's just say her raising wasn't exactly...up to spiff (or is it snuff?). Anyways, six years later, they had Kristen, who ended up quiet and polite without them or a nanny, so they were fine. The real drama started when Ellie turned fifteen and Troy was getting ready to go to college. Kristen was only nine and spent most of her time practicing music, trying to figure out her math homework, as always, and learning French from their neighbor.
Ellie let her parents meet her "first" boyfriend (and by first, she means, the first one they had ever known about). His name was Timothy Rogers and he was your normal fifteen-year-old boy. His mind was normally on sex and when it wasn't he was getting yelled at about his grades that were dipping down and his shaggy haircut and his ripped jeans and his rude personality. To Ellie, this was the perfect boy. To her parents, he was a boy from an esteemed family that lived up the hill and had a pocketful of money.
So, later that month, the parents were out at work and Ellie had sent Kristen out on a cookie and coffee run (cookies for her and coffee for Ellie, who wanted to seem more mature and intelligent for Timothy). Let's just say this was Point A in Baby's life.
A couple weeks after that, Ellie realized she was missing her period and was getting fat, and the reasons were obvious. She was pregnant. She had seen a couple movies about things like that, and most of the time there was a happy ending, right? So she would tell her parents in due time, and most of all, Timothy.
She did, and they were anything but happy. Kristen stayed in her room with the door locked for a couple of hours before she heard their conclusion. "You're going to marry that Rogers boy, have the baby, and raise it together."
Simple enough, right? Well, that's how it ended up. Kristen got to be the flower girl and Timothy wasn't very happy to be tied down, but was a proud father of a brand new boy a year later. Timothy Junior was a wild little kid, and Kristen was a happy aunt at ten years old. Well, Ellie moved in with the Rogers family and when Kristen turned around to be fifteen, to avoid any pregnancy mess, they moved to Perdido, California.
That's when the affair started. Dahlia met a guy who was handsome enough and "forgot" to tell him she was married, and Cliff started going to bars that eventually became his addiction. Kristen started going to Perdido High, and this is where we are now.
